Trenton Deramus

Coach Deramus will be entering his 1st season on the Bixby High School football staff as an Assistant Outside Linebackers Coach. He brings previous coaching experience from Berryhill High School, where he spent 2 years assisting with coaching both inside and outside linebackers. He also previously served on the equipment staff for the University of Tulsa Golden Hurricane football program.

As a player, Coach Deramus was a standout inside linebacker at Berryhill High School, earning All-District 1st Team honors and recognition as the top inside linebacker in the Tulsa area by
several sources. He led his team in both tackles and tackles-for-loss and was a top 5 state ranked powerlifter in the 222-pound weight class.

Coach Deramus is currently a junior at the University of Tulsa where he is majoring in Business with a focus in Sports Management and earning a minor in Education. He plans to pursue a master’s degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration upon graduation.

In addition to coaching, he serves as the NFL Flag Football Director at Ascension St. John SportsPlex, where he oversees the largest NFL Flag league in Oklahoma and one of the biggest in the South Central region of the country.

Coach Deramus is a devout Christian whose mission is to share the truth of Jesus Christ through his life and coaching. His long-term goal is to coach football and work in high school athletic
administration.
