9th Grade WR/DB Coach
Coach Shawn DeBose joins Bixby High School for his second year with the Spartans, where he will be teaching 11th-grade U.S. History and coaching 9th Grade Defensive Backs and Wide Receivers.
A 2018 graduate of Union High School, Coach DeBose played safety under Coach Kirk Fridrich
and continued his playing career at Oklahoma Baptist University under Coach Chris Jensen.
While at OBU, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science.
Before coming to Bixby, Coach DeBose spent three years coaching varsity safeties at Bartlesville High School, where he helped mentor student-athletes both on and off the field. Coach DeBose has been married to his wife, Madison, for five years. They have a 2-year-old son named Princeton and a son, Roman, born in May 2026.
