Shad Scarborough

Coach Scarborough will be entering his 4th season as a Bixby Spartan football coach and his first year as a JV baseball coach.  He will be coaching the varsity defensive backs and returners.  He is also the In-School Probation teacher at the Bixby 9th Grade Center.

Prior to coming to Bixby, Coach Shad, as he is referred to, spent four seasons at Sapulpa High School.  While at Sapulpa, he coached the defensive backs and was the junior high school head football and baseball coach.

Coach Shad graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from East Central University.  While earning his degree, he played wide receiver, defensive back, and return specialist.

Coach Shad has been married to Crystal for five years. They have four children: Brooklynn, who plays basketball at Connor State and had a tremendous senior year and earned All-State honors for the ‘25-’26 season; twin boys Cimone and Elijah, who are juniors and play for our Bixby Spartan football team; and Siennah, an 8th grader at Bixby Middle School.
