9th Grade Defensive Backs Coach
This will be Coach Palmer’s first year as a Bixby Spartan. He will be working with our 9th grade team as the quarterbacks and defensive backs coach. Coach Palmer graduated high school from Tulsa East Central, where in 2005 he was a state championship quarterback. Ironically, Bixby was the opponent that season. That year he was also a state champion high jumper and state runner-up long jumper.
In 2018, Coach Palmer and his family moved to Bixby were he became super involved with the Bixby Youth Football program. He was a head coach in the BYFA from 2019-2025 and won championships in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2025.
Coach Palmer and his wife Keisha met as 9th graders in 2002, started dating in 2005, and got married in 2016. They have four children together: daughter- Kaliyah(17), son- Rylan(13), daughter- Kaylee(8), and daughter- Kovi(1).
