Drake Gammon
Head Strength & Conditioning Coach
Coach Gammon will be entering his 2nd year on the strength & conditioning staff and his 1st as head strength and conditioning coach for the Bixby Spartans.
Coach Gammon is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA).
Before arriving at Bixby, Coach Gammon spent one year as the Head Strength Coach at Van Horn High School in Independence, Missouri. Prior to Van Horn, Coach Gammon worked as an assistant strength & conditioning coach at Pittsburg State University, working with football, men’s basketball, and baseball. Through internships before Pittsburg State, Coach Gammon has worked on the football strength & conditioning staffs at The University of Kansas and Akron University.
Prior to entering the coaching profession, Coach Gammon graduated from Blue Valley West High School and played football at Pittsburg State University from 2018-2019. Coach Gammon holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from The University of Kansas, as well as a Master of Science in Human Performance & Wellness from Pittsburg State University.
Coach Gammon and wife, Emily, were married in May. Emily is an oncology nurse in Tulsa.
