9th Grade Football
Coach Alexander is starting his first year at Bixby. He will be coaching 9th-grade football.
David is a Tulsa University graduate. He played football and met his wife, Kathy, there. He was drafted into the NFL as the 121st overall pick to the Philadelphia Eagles in 1987. His career lasted 10 seasons: 8 years with Philadelphia and 2 with the New York Jets.
After a successful career in the NFL, Coach Alexander built homes in the Tulsa area. In 2003, he started coaching football at Jenks, where he coached with our own Coach Montgomery. In 2018, Coach Alexander won the only state football championship in Broken Arrow history.
David and Kathy have 3 grown and married children: son Jake and wife Paige, son Kyle and wife Tierney, and daughter Cassity and husband Will. They have 4 grandchildren!!
This will be Coach Alexander’s 23rd year of coaching high school football.
