Trenton Deramus

Coach Deramus will be entering his 2nd season on the Bixby football staff.  This year, he will be the 8th-grade outside linebackers coach and assist at the varsity level. He brings previous experience from Berryhill High School, where he spent 2 years assisting with coaching both inside and outside linebackers. He also previously served on the equipment staff for the University of Tulsa Golden Hurricane football program.

As a player, Coach Deramus was a standout inside linebacker at Berryhill High School, earning All-District 1st Team honors and recognition as the top inside linebacker in the Tulsa area by several sources. He led his team in both tackles and tackles-for-loss and was a top 5 state-ranked powerlifter in the 222-pound weight class.

Coach Deramus is currently a senior at the University of Tulsa, where he is majoring in Business with a focus in Sports Management and earning a minor in Education. He plans to pursue a master’s degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration upon graduation.

Coach Deramus is a devout Christian whose mission is to share the truth of Jesus Christ through his life and coaching. His long-term goal is to coach football and work in high school athletic administration.
